A snoop around Nike’s archives yielded a plethora of models, including the classic Air Max, the Air Force 1 and the Air Max 90. As for the ‘Tn’, the iconic model was first seen in the early 90’s, the halo was added in 2004 and the shoe is still around to this day in all its glory.
The best part is that the tn was not confined to one particular market or time frame, as was the case for its predecessors. A recent study in the footwear industry revealed that Nike has sold more than a billion pairs of sneakers over the last two decades, and has a devoted following in all walks of life. The company’s flagship brand has a devoted following in all the major cities, while the likes of Tokyo and Berlin have their own cults.
